[Turkish: Antep Kabab] Turkish Delight

I can be a bit princess when it comes to seating and decor, but when sandwiches are this good – what ugly white walls??

I was apparently the only one in town unaware that Antep Kabab existed. It looks like nothing from the outside, but trust me, the food here is like nowhere else. Soft drinks are imported directly from Turkey, the buns are homemade, and the meat, juicy and tender, is charcoaled in front of your eyes. The sandwiches are GIGANTIC and come with tomato, salad, and delicious tzatziki. We all had chicken sandwiches which cost… prepare yourself…  6 little dollars (tax included) each. Really, this is the deal of the century when you think of the size and goodness of the meal.

note: they only take cash, so don’t come empty handed!
