The sun was out, the birds were singing, and I was on my way to Buck 15 Espresso to meet D & Y for a good shot of caffeine. As I walk in, Roy (the owner) was cracking up over one of Amanda’s (numerous) jokes. Before I knew it, I too was holding on to my stomach, laughing, before losing myself in a more serious chat. Hot topic of the day: is Jamaica the third best place on earth to grab Chinese food?
Eventually, I made it back to the communal table, maple-bacon donut in one hand, and grilled cheese in the other. The homemade lemonades followed a few seconds later, with shreds of pulp added to the mix.
Buck 15 will no doubt bring out the happy in you.
Sun or no sun, come say hello to Roy and Amanda.
p.s. The house serves coffee made from Spyhouse roasted beans (Minneapolis) and is pretty awesome, I heard.
