Sugar shack season is back! One of Quebec’s most quintessential activity, the sugar shack meal is a yearly happening I always look forward to. The food, overabundant and mandatorily drenched in maple syrup, is a real showstopper.

Picture this: endless stacks of pancakes, large pans of baked beans, huge maple pies and of course, the traditional tourtière (Quebec’s meat pie).
