[Coffee: Cafe Aunja] Persian nights meet le Plateau, in the heart of downtown

Cafe Aunja is a gem in so many ways thanks for its owner, Hamed. A professional photographer now coffee shop owner, Hamed made a point to turn his café into a creative hub. Everything about his place makes you want to loose track of time and wonder about the meaning of life (until you find it). The front space welcomes a new exhibition or performance every other day, while the back end, filled with a large couch, is a cosy haven for the intellect at work. Should you need a little dose of caffeine to keep up with conversation, Cafe Aunja has you covered with over 60 varieties of dried flowers and teas to mix into your very own hot drink. Every teapot is served with a few Persian chickpea cookies (Nan-e Nokhodchi) that literally melt in your mouth. So really, you have no reason to leave.

… and when you do leave, you can’t resist but to come back. For some like us, that meant returning with our entire production crew ;).
